Top Down Games Performance in Egypt: Q3 2023

In the third quarter of 2023, Egypt saw notable performances from the top 5 top-down games on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino by Yalla Technology FZ-LLC experienced fluctuations in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked at 100K in early August but saw a significant drop to around 21K later in the month. Revenue had a steady decline from $15.6K in early July to about $10K by the end of September. Active user numbers started at approximately 536K in late June and gradually decreased to 341K by the end of September.

Zynga Poker ™ - Texas Hold'em from Zynga Inc. showed a stable weekly revenue pattern, reaching up to $9.3K in late August. Downloads remained relatively low, peaking at 707 in early August. Active user numbers were consistent, with a slight increase to around 15.6K in late August before settling at 12.3K by the end of September.

Whiteout Survival by Century Games Pte. Ltd. saw revenue rise to about $8.1K at the end of July, stabilizing around $5.9K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads, however, declined significantly from 7.6K in late June to around 1.6K by the end of September. Downloads were highest in mid-July at 11.5K but saw a decline to about 3.4K by late September. Active users increased to around 53.5K in mid-September before dropping to 49.6K at the end of the month.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd. demonstrated a consistent performance with revenue peaking at $7.1K in late August. Downloads saw a high of 13.3K in mid-August, while active users remained stable, starting at 311K in late June and ending at 267K by the end of September.
